What makes two different people different?

I’ve searched my thoughts thoroughly, never could come to a conclusion to this unanswerable question…

I used to tell ppl that no matter how different one may be, it shouldnt be a problem when they get together becoz the other person will have to suit the first one and of course, vice versa…so,eventually they will get along…

differences between two people arent a problem..it only became a problem when we start to notice them…i was convinced that, differences can be ignored, it wont affect nor change anything…

Initially, i felt this way too, but now………

perhaps this is why it happened to me,

perhaps i’ve forgotten what i should look for in someone,

perhaps somewhere along the line, i’m the one who kept creating the differences,

but i’ve learned one thing worth mentioning, differences are inevitable….

and not all opposites attract..

        its usually not quite right if u are at your work place and u use their internet facilities for some personal agenda but i cant help it becoz i think i should at least post something since ‘this’ computer was found by me ‘unintentionally’…hehe..u see, not all computers here are connected to the internet and from my experience there should be one (at least) with all the connections and ta-da, here i am, blogging away…sshhh!

        i am supposed to go back at 5.30pm everyday..(that’ when all the architects, I.designer, draftsmen, technicians and computer guy supposeto leave)..but unfortunately, i am here with one of the boss ..so we usually stay still 8-9 pm at nite…

here i am….reading a book on a biogprahy of a famous architect, Daniel Libeskind…(but cant quite get the terms they use in the biography)…technically, first 13 pages of this book is not understandable..so i just assume things as i read…

        (note: i am actually working in an architecture firm in kl to get some job experience for about 2 weeks)

       My job here is quite easy actually..

       Let me list down what i did here so far… i do everything that is needed to be done here..from filing to making tea and coffee for the visitors and frm picking up telephones calls to interns presentation.I get to involve in some talks on silicone sealants and and discussion on how to widen the balcony of a toilet of a 3-storey town house. Amazing how these 3 simple words can add so much misery into your school days..and especially during maths period…

after acomplishing a simple task like washing the dishes in the sink,priceless…

to eat your mum’s burnt fish during dinner is priceless…

Its over…everything’s over..nothings left of me now.WC has no meaning for me already…my sole purpose of watchin world cup is, of course, to watch ENGLAND play..(well to be specific,i am actually looking out for Owen and Gerrard,-)oh how typical..

England has lost to portugal yesterday in the ‘lost-as-usual’ penalty..my heart skipped a beat when each of them take their turns to score..i was walking up and down my living room while watchin, my heart beat was getting faster and faster..haha…but the darn portuguese seems to know their way to the goal post…

i almost couldnt breathe…first,beckham was subsituted..then rooney was presented a red card by the referee without much hesitation (even tho it wasnt much of rooney’s fault,its his stupid Man-U’s team mate,C.ronaldo who were such a busy body)..Crouch was pretty good after that..Lennon brought a flicker of hope to the Eng’s fan,or rather to me…i was especially worried for eng yesterday..knowing tat its not going to be an easy match for the english..but still..i hoped for the very best and never gave up on them untill the very last minute..i was hoping they would be the final 4..my hopes have,well unfortunately, shattered,obviously.. when ronaldo scored the winning penalty, after 120min of ‘trials and tribulation’ …that moment was unbeliveble..i took such a long time to accept the fact that they lost..sigh..tears flow down alittle after i saw terry and the rest of the players cried..they were so close but yet so far…i believe that..however unfit Owen may be,if owen is among them..things would be alittle different somehow…

and p/s: Gerrard should be handed the England’s Captaincy… =)

its been quite a hell of a time last week..with midterms and Muet examination all over..i din know it will be that difficult..well..was alittle discouraged and somehow…lost alittle self determination..but its not going to end here…at least i think..that 5-days exam can really bring someone down…and well..maybe it could be listed as one of your ‘life-changing-events’…ahaha,i know i am exaggerating…its ..but folks out there…if u ever gonna take form6…plz plz..get ready a gun..u will need it…eventually….actually..dun EVEN consider form6…let alone physics major..but..the good part is..no regrets..for i ‘ve really enjoyed and learn alot during the 2 semester..i have interesting frens who really cared about each other..and we are pratically like brothers and sister…they will go out of their way just to help u with some maths or physics problem…=)..

anyway,

i decided to sit back and relax today..oh yah..last paper this morning..just started reading the da vinci code..its a very fascinating book if i may say so myself..deep arhitectural definition..alot of french words..but the book is written in contemporary english..so ..haha..can understand la of course…alot of ‘interesting’ ideas on christianity tho..so for those of u whos not a christian..its a ‘not-such-a-good-idea’ book to read..u’ll have ‘ funny’ ideas on christianity..but besides that..the author really has a way to keep u reading the book..=)..

i really miss the time where me chian ming, chirstine and alex played monopoly..it was fun…real fun!..everybody was laughing and chatting and moving their pointers..and buying lands and building houses and hotels..charging rents and paying up loans and moneys to the bank..u could imagine chian ming laughing like a hyena and Christine,like a mouse…ahha…we played in christine’s house..the mom then brought us  milo + coffee jelly.. taste good..tho its not sweet enough..then stayed back for dinner.thanks christine for that 4-5 hours at your place..unforgettable!.btw.my point is..that..behind all these, i can truly see what a good fren is for..i mean..of course..i dun mean monopoly,jelly and dinner..its the little things we do for each other that matters..and sharing the same joy and laughter with each other is priceless…spending that few hours make us apreciate each other more than before..a single game like this could also be a life changing event.its just how u look at it…well..if u din focus too much on winning..=)…oh yeah..btw..i lost 3 rounds consecutively..=)
